Telluride Ski Resort

Telluride Ski Resort is one of the most well-known ski resorts in Colorado. Initially, the city of Telluride was a mining town until the year of 1953 when it became a ghost town after the mines were shut down. It remained to be a ghost town until the 1970’s, when Joe Zoline restored the town to make it Telluride Ski Resort. It improved throughout the years with the addition of snowmaking equipment and the development of several trails.

Today, Telluride Ski Resort is incredibly simple to get to with direct jet service from nine cities, along with other connections from across the world. The key airports that service the Telluride Ski Resort region are Montrose Regional Airport and Telluride Regional Airport. When reaching the Telluride Ski Resort, be sure to learn about the historic buildings, enjoy the restaurants and bakeries and view the watering holes that blend with the plush hotels.
